Why and How Do We Pray?
Briarcliff   -

The Bible says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 NIV) I think that is something we all could use a little more of – a guarded heart and mind.

Life often comes with trials and strife when we least expect it, leaving us confused, hurt, and anxious about the next day. Many of us can find ourselves anxious about that next project at work, the unpaid bills, a sick child, or the state of our relationships, either those we have or hope for one day. Whatever the case may be, God tells us to pray about all things and he will guard our hearts and minds.
