The Gospel of John – 3/10/24
You have likely been asked the question, “If you could meet anyone, who would it be?” It is an interesting thought experiment that unearths where our passions lie. But what about this question, “Who would you like to pray with?” Many icons of our faith come to mind. Billy Graham, Martin Luther, Corrie Ten Boom. But what about Jesus? At first, it may seem the most impossible, but it is in fact the most possible. It is the heart of John 17 – the prayer of Jesus.
In John 17, Jesus prays for those who follow him in three distinct ways that lead us to find our identity rooted and desires met in Christ himself. Jesus invites us in to be prayed for and pray with the community of the Trinity.
Don’t miss our time together this Sunday as we journey together into the heart of prayer and community with Jesus
