How Does the Gospel Shape a Life?
Vernon Armitage   -

During the last three weeks, we have looked at “What is the Gospel?”, “Does the Gospel Shape a Life?”, and “What Does the Gospel-Shaped Life Look Like?” This Sunday we will conclude the series with one more practical question: “How Does the Gospel Shape a Life?”

In a nutshell, the gospel shapes our lives from the inside out. This is unique from every religion in the world that only shapes the outside of a life. Religion only gives ways to find God, contrary to the gospel where Jesus says I have come to find you. When we respond to Christ’s call, he continues to change us from the inside out for the rest of our lives. This week’s message will elaborate on the difference between religion and Christianity. It may surprise you how we tend to lose sight of the uniqueness of the gospel and fall into practices that conform more to other religions.
