Hope 2022
This Sunday begins the celebration of Advent – culminating in our worship together on Christmas morning. Advent begins with something consistent throughout human history, hope. Everyone hopes for something. We have hopes for ourselves, our children, our families, and our communities. Hopes are real, not the grandiose fantasies of wishful thinking but the concrete knowledge of what is possible.
The Bible tells us that true hope must ultimately come from the perfect life, redeeming death, and liberating resurrection of Jesus Christ. Don’t miss our time together this Sunday as we begin our celebration of God’s incarnation into our world and into our hearts. We will see that our unseen hope is very real – in our history, future, and present lives.
