1 Corinthians 4
When you are in a group photograph, who do you look at first? Yourself! This Sunday, we will look at a group photograph of the church and, in particular, at each of us in the picture. In 1 Corinthians 4, Paul paints a picture of a servant or minister of Christ. He describes what we are to look like in this picture. Before a group picture is taken, you put the final touches on the way you look, don’t you? Look at yourself in the mirror of 1 Corinthians 4. Allow it to guide you in the final touches you need to make in your appearance.
Read Chapter 4 a few times before our study on Sunday. You will find that it reflects more than just your outer appearance; it reflects the core of your entire being—your attitude, motives, faithfulness, and how you appear to the world outside of Christ. Join us this Sunday and come expecting God’s Spirit to radically touch you, transforming you and making you beautiful, inside and out.
