Description
The Briarcliff Kids Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with the Director of Next Generation to pursue the mission and vision of Briarcliff Church in Briarcliff Kids.
The Briarcliff Kids Coordinator is faithful to the task when:
- Serving Christ’s Kingdom and glorifying God through his relationships, actions, work, attitudes within his home, our church, and the greater community (1 Corinthians 10:31)
- Serving the church through the promotion of unity, walking in a way that illustrates the gospel – all with kindness and humility (Ephesians 3:20–4:1-3)
- Serving small groups in a way that fuels the information-inspiration cycle of progressive sanctification bringing glory to God now and forever (2 Peter 3:18)
- Serving individual people by helping them identify how God has designed them to advance the gospel and grow into the fulness of Christ (Matthew 25:35-40; Ephesians 4:13)

Core Responsibilities
1. Lead with Staff: Champion your ministry
- Align Kids ministry with mission and vision of Briarcliff Church
- Collaborate through effective meetings with other staff
- Manage budget and resources to set up Briarcliff Kids for success
2. Lead with Kids: Excellence in weekly ministry
- Create intentional and strategic weekly experiences for kids
- Design and promote a consistent and clear message
- Invite and challenge a diverse team to lead weekly experiences
3. Lead with Volunteers: Invite and challenge volunteer leaders
- Implement a system to invite and challenge volunteer leaders
- Promote periodic coaching and developing opportunities for leaders
- Invest in a healthy culture of leaders that is centered on sacrificial love
4. Lead with Parents: Partner with parents
- Create consistent avenues for parent communication and connections
- Provide discipleship resources for parents to utilize
- Create opportunities for parents to grow together as disciples who make disciples
Experience and Education
Professional: Experience working or serving in kids ministries required
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
