Habakkuk
We are on a journey to pray through the Bible in all its forms and genres. There are many parts of the Bible that are ready-made for prayer, whereas other parts are less obvious. Psalms are written as prayers. Jesus gives a model prayer in the New Testament. And Paul prays in many of his letters. But Habakkuk? We are not even sure how to say it, much less pray it. But after a little investigation, we see that the book of Habakkuk is more than ancient prophecy; the entire book is itself a prayer pointing to the hope of Jesus Christ.
