Conflict & Authority: Forgiveness (Audio)
Beginning in Chapter 2, we see Jesus involved in conflicts that show his authority. Jesus didn’t just heal the paralytic, he saw into his heart and forgave him of his sins. He does this primarily to show his mastery over sin. God has not promised to meet our needs in suffering. He has promised to forgive us for our sins. The actions of Jesus confirm his authority.
