We live in a post-postmodern world where we struggle over core moral values. There is no moral consensus at all. Everyone makes up their own moral codes; their own Ten Commandments. When it comes to the truth about right and wrong; who says so?
As Moses led the people on the long journey of their salvation from the bondage of Egypt to the Promised Land, God gave some rules for living. It is God’s “says so” list. Are those relevant for today? This Sunday we will begin to unpack the the Ten Commandments God gave Moses and learn how that gives infallible direction for living successfully today in a post-postmodern world.
