Advent: Peace (Audio)
The Old Testament prophet Isaiah proclaimed the coming of peace personified in a person. “A child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.” Where is this coming peace? Jesus assured his troubled disciples, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you.
