Core values prayer guide
When Briarcliff Church started in the small store front at The Village of Briarcliff, we began to think about what was most important. We knew we could not do everything, so we laid out the most important initiatives for our church called the 5 G’s. They remain the five core values of our church.
Below is a link to a prayer guide on praying for what is most important. You can print it and use it as part of your daily time alone with God. The exciting days ahead are paved by our praying. Take some time each day to focus on what is really important.
vision prayer guide
It is our desire to pray together as a church. This prayer guide will serve as a point of unity as we go to the Lord in prayer individually and in groups. You may find it helpful to divide the seven points as prayers for each day of the week or as a summer of prayer, spending a week on each topic. Click on the link below to download the prayer guide.
building projects prayer guide
We are not seeking for what we can do for God but what God will do through us. Never underestimate what he is able to do through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Ephesians 3:20
Each day, read and meditate on the following verses from 1 Chronicles found in this prayer guide. They record how David looked to God for guidance in providing the resources for building the temple. Allow each verse to speak to you as you look to God for what he desires to do through you. Close your prayer each day with this prayer of David. O LORD our God, all this abundance that we have provided to build You a house for Your holy name, it is from Your hand, and all is Yours.1 Chronicles 29:16. He was not thinking about what he was able to do but trusting what God would do from His hand.
After seven days of prayer, do what he leads you to do in giving to the building project. This is up and above your regular giving. Indicate the amount on an offering envelope each time you give. For those who give on line, select “building fund” for your gift.
