Operation Christmas Child

Briarcliff Church has the opportunity to reach families with the Gospel through Operation Christmas Child. Every shoebox we prepare can richly bless children and become an opportunity for their family to experience God’s love and forgiveness. For some this may be the first time they learn about the gospel.

Our goal this year is to pack 1,400 boxes at our Packing party which will be on October 13, 2018. Below is the plan to reach our goal:

Groups

  • Children's Area (Birth to Grade 5) will collect boxes of crayons.
  • Small Groups will collect plush and dolls.
  • Students will collect socks.

Church-Wide

T-Shirts to Jump Ropes - jump ropes to include in the boxes are being made from donated t-shirts.  If you are interested in being on the team who makes the jump ropes, please click HERE.

May:  Wash cloths, solid-color shirts (Youth sizes S, M, L, WL)

June:
  Balls, matchbox cars, small toys

July/August:
School supplies (pencils, erasers, pens, paper, scissors) and whatever we came up short on from the previous months.

Sharing the Gospel

It is with unwavering commitment to the mission of God that Briarcliff Church commits in all things to share the gospel, grow in community and serve others. What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out is eternal. In the hands of local churches and ministry partners, every gift-filled shoebox is a powerful tool for effective, local evangelism and discipleship – transforming the lives of children and their families around the world through the Good News of Jesus Christ!  We invite you to spend some time viewing just a few of the heart-warming stories:
