Greetings E-news Friends,

Before we unpack our vision, let’s revisit our MISSION (the purpose of our existence). We really do not create the mission for our church. Jesus Christ has done that and it does not change. The only option we have is how it would be delineated. The way we say it at Briarcliff is we are here to “SHARE the gospel, GROW in community, and SERVE others.” What then is our VISION? Vision is simply a picture of what we think God desires for our church to look like in 6-12 months. It does not address “how” - that requires planning. Vision is unique for every church and is always changing. Here is the vision we see for Briarcliff in the next 6-12 months. OUR VISION IS TO BE A FIRED-UP FELLOWSHIP, WILLING TO PAY THE PRICE FOR TRANSFORMATIONAL DISCIPLESHIP. What does that mean? We will unpack that this Sunday. Whatever it takes, don’t miss it.

If you were not able to hear the message last week, take a moment to visit our Sermons page and listen now. It was about Paul’s story; his life before Christ, how he came to Christ, and his life after coming to Christ. Every follower of Christ has a story. It would be great to hear your story. Send it to  . Use the same outline as Paul’s story and keep it to one page, font size 12.

Small Group Sign-Up Continues this Sunday
It was great to see the buzz around the group sign-up tables last week. If you are not already in a community small group, now is the time to get connected. It is a great place to find friendship, support and transformational discipleship. There are groups that meet at different times, locations, and days of the week. Small Group leaders will be at tables again this week in the back of the auditorium following each service.  Feel free to introduce yourself, ask questions, or even arrange to attend their group as a guest to see if it is a right fit for you.  If you’d like more information about our groups, please visit our Small Groups page.

Join Daily Prayer Focus for This Week
You can receive the prayer guide, one day at a time, this next week (Monday-Friday). We will text you once each day with one thing to pray for. Each morning when you look at your phone, you can pray. Be a daily part of this team!  Join now by texting the word pray to 94090.

This week’s ministry focus will be on the vision for Briarcliff.  If you would prefer a printed copy rather than a daily text, here is Our Vision Prayer Guide
