Greetings E-news Friends,

Read it! Read it! Read it!

Read some of Mark’s Gospel each day. If that is not a daily practice during this series of messages on the Gospel of Mark, begin by reading one chapter a day. When you finish reading the entire gospel, begin reading it again. You will find something very significant happening in your life as you read it over and over.

Since the message this Sunday is in Mark 3, read the chapter a couple of times. You will find the message much more meaningful and alive because you have read the chapter. Try it!! You will be delighted with the results.

Preparation For Worship

Each Saturday during construction a special team has the opportunity to prepare the auditorium for worship.  As we strive for excellence that honors God and inspires people, we are keenly aware of the importance of having a team of 4 each week.  Please sign up for November 3, 10, 17 and 24. Sign up here.

Acoustics During Construction

Thank you for your patience during the construction. We will be working diligently this week to improve the sound. The good news is that each week moves us closer to a finished auditorium with God-honoring sight and sound.

Opportunity to Ship a OCC Box

This year we packed 1400 OCC boxes and the cost for shipping each box is $9.00. We have currently received nearly half of the amount needed.  You can make sure a box is shipped to a child by placing your check made out to Briarcliff Church in the offering and write OCC on the envelope.

Fall Fest, October 27, 4 PM - 6 PM

You did it again.  More than enough candy has been received to fill more than 400 bags.  A few bags of candy are needed for prizes at the games so please feel free to bring candy this Sunday. Fall Fest is a fun, purposeful time for families.  To serve at the Fall Fest, sign up HERE.

Briarcliff Village Lighting Ceremony
As in past years, we'll be assisting the Briarcliff Village with their Christmas Lighting Ceremony.  The event will be on November 10 from 3:00 PM to 730 PM. It will be held within the Briarcliff Village Shops area.  Please help us connect with the community at this event by signing up to volunteer HERE.

Small Groups

Our mission at Briarcliff is to share the gospel, grow in community and serve others in a way that glorifies God. Small groups are a major part of growing in community. Most of our groups are partnering with the messages on Mark. This will be a meaningful and life-changing experience. Don’t miss this opportunity to grow in community. You can find out more HERE.
