Greetings E-news Friends,

God’s dwelling place:

What is the most impressive building you have ever seen; perhaps the Taj Mahal, the Great Pyramids of Egypt, or the Trade Center before 911? This Sunday we will look at the most significant building ever built--the Tabernacle.   You may be surprised to know that the tabernacle dominates most of the last half of Exodus. Why? What was so significant about the “tent of meetings” as it was sometimes called?  Why was God so particular on how it was constructed? What is its significance for today? You will be encouraged by what the Tabernacle has to do with our lives today.  Come this Sunday expecting a special whisper from God as we unpack the message of the tabernacle.

Christmas Eve Survey

Thanks to all of you who have responded to the survey. This is very helpful for us in planning for the services on Christmas Eve, which falls on Sunday this year. We plan to have three identical services: 9:00 AM, 10:45 AM and 5:00 PM. If you have not already responded, please take a moment to reply to this brief survey and let us know which of the three services you will most likely attend.

Shipping opportunity

Thanks for helping with shipping the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to their God-given destination. We are about halfway to our goal of $7700. You can help by placing your gift in an offering envelope and mark it “OCC.”

Lansing Inmate Child Adoption

The annual Prison Ministry Christmas Banquet for “men of faith” will be on December 8. Each dad will be given the honor of presenting their child(ren) with a Christmas gift.  We are asking for volunteers to "adopt" these children and supply the gifts the inmates will give.

Each dad will be praying for God to hear what is on their child's heart. After you select a child to adopt, we ask that you PRAY about what you pick out for them. Many people who have attended past banquets have seen some pretty incredible things happen like..."Dad, how did you know!?"  It can be amazing because our God is amazing! For more information, or to adopt a child, please click HERE.

Board nomination

Board nominations ends this Sunday, November 3-12, 2017. Your first step will be to read the Covenant for Board Member. Next, have the person you want to nominate read and complete the covenant form if they agree to being nominated. Ask them to drop the form in the box in the lobby.

Lansing Christmas Banquet - December 8

Christmas Eve Services - Sunday, December, 9:00 AM, 10:45 AM or 5:00 PM.
