Greetings E-news Friends,

This Sunday:

Jesus was a storyteller. His stories were known as “parables” which means, “alongside.” Jesus would lay a truth beside a story to make a point. This Sunday we will look at the stories Jesus told about the lost sheep, the lost coin and the lost son. The main point of the stories were to show the Pharisees and scribe the true heart of God. The stories also showed them nature and need of mankind. Consequently we can also see the heart of God for people becoming disciples. He deeply wants to reach out to us and for us to learn of him in a personal relationship of love. You will be encouraged by the truth of this story. Don’t miss it.

Have you been baptized since making a commitment to follow Jesus? It is one of the first ways to declare your faith. The New Testament is clear that “those who had received his word were baptized.” It is a beautiful and meaningful step of demonstrating publicly what Jesus has done inwardly in your life. It is an experience that can truly bless you and certainly glorify our Lord.

Baptism is scheduled for Sunday, March 18, 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM., We would love to visit with you about baptism if that is your next step as a follower of Jesus. If you have not been baptized or have questions about baptism, let us know.
