Greetings E-news Friends,

This Sunday

Throughout the history of redemption, we see God call and use people that we would not. Kings and rulers with (seemingly) enormous potential fall into obvious evil snares. Yet, the poor, socially marginalized have the faith of saints while maintaining divine humility. How does this make any sense? This Sunday we will look at Mark 6:1-30 and see the liberation that comes from relying on Jesus and recognizing him as king in all-of-life.

Exploring Faith

Why is Exploring Faith important? What you believe drives everything about you—your decisions, values, priorities, relationships and much more. Yet many are not clear on what they really believe or why. What you believe determines how you live your life and spend eternity. Would you invite the unchurched friends you have been praying for to attend this adventure with you?  They are not likely to attend without your prayers, encouragement and willingness to attend with them. This is a safe environment for people to ask questions about faith. It can also be a great learning for you that bring your unchurched friend. You will be given the tools for the greatest adventure in life.

We will begin on Wednesday, January 23, at 6:30 PM. Children will have the opportunity of being in Awana at the same time. Register now

This is a safe and convenient way to make your gift to the ministries of Briarcliff. You can make a one-time or reoccurring gift. Begin this new year this week with your online gift.  Click here.

Food Collection

Start the new year by helping those in need. Pick up a little at the store when you are shopping this week and bring it this Sunday. Your generosity will bless others and bless you also.

Briarcliff Students

Wednesday, January 9th Briarcliff Students will begin to meet each Wednesday at the Director of Student Ministries, Nate Le Blanc’s, home from 6:30 PM-8:00 PM. To begin 2019 Briarcliff Students will be switching formats to be more relationship focused, which we believe is best done in a Small Group setting that takes place in a home. Our first series of the year will be “Why Jesus?” We will go in depth on what it means to have a meaningful relationship with Jesus and how it looks much different than just a best friend. Click here to get more information.
