Greetings E-news Friends,

This Sunday
After Jesus’ conflict with the religious leaders over what makes a person “clean,” - really meaning righteous - Jesus takes his disciples on the longest journey of his ministry to a people and region that everyone understood as “a place you just don’t go.” Jesus’ actions and compassion removes all perceived barriers of the power and purpose of God’s redemptive work.

Join us Sunday as we experience the liberation Jesus brings to his people in all areas of life through his word.

Exploring Faith
It’s not too late to be a part of Exploring Faith. We will be meeting this Wednesday at 6:30 PM. Register now!

A Great Investment Opportunity
“If I could relive my life, I would devote my entire ministry to reaching children for God.”
~Dwight L. Moody

The Briarcliff Kids leaders totally agree with Dwight L. Moody.  As a result of an increased number of kids, a newly renovated space, and the transfer of some of our teachers, we have a large number of opportunities. We would love for you to join our amazing group of leaders who love Jesus and love kids.

There are opportunities for 3 leaders at 9:00 AM and 4 leaders at 10:45 AM on Sunday, and 2 leaders for AWANA which is our Wednesday evening group for kids.

To receive more information, please sign up here or complete the Briarcliff Kids’ card found in the chair pocket. The ministry leader will connect with you immediately.

New Group: Reading & Studying the Bible
For many of us, consistently reading and studying the Bible can be an intimidating venture. Christians agree that the Bible should be read, believed and obeyed, but how do you know you’re understanding it correctly?  This new four-week group is designed to address these types of questions. Join us beginning Sunday, February 10th at 9:00 AM to begin a journey that will change the way you interact with God’s word. To learn more and to register, please click HERE.

Small Groups
Our mission at Briarcliff is to share the gospel, grow in community and serve others in a way that glorifies God. Small groups are a major part of growing in community.  Find out more  by clicking HERE.

Food Collection
This Sunday is another opportunity to help those in need. Pick up some additional groceries this week when you are shopping, then bring them this Sunday. Your generosity makes a big difference.

City Union Mission
Our annual tradition of serving dinner for City Union Mission will continue this year and will take place on Tuesday, Feb 19, 2019, 5:00 PM at the City Union Mission - Family Center, and the following Tuesday, Feb 26, 2019, 5:30 PM AND 7:30 PM (serving two different groups of men) at the City Union Mission - Men’s Center. If you are interested in this serving opportunity, please click HERE.

Briarcliff Students
Valentine’s Day Panel | February 13th

This year we will have another Valentine’s Day Panel discussion in Briarcliff Students on Wednesday, February 13. Our panel will consist of two married couples that are members of our church. They will come and answer questions that will help our students know what it means to be in a Biblical relationship. We will also have food and time of fellowship for relationship building! We look forward to all the students coming this Wednesday night!
