Greetings E-news Friends,

You are Gifted!

One of our core values at Briarcliff is the conviction that every believer is given a special ability to do certain things well. This is one of our Briarcliff Prayers. We want every person in our church to discover their God given design and engage in a joyful way that helps them grow and glorify God.  This Sunday we will look at what the bible says about how rich you are and the special way you can grow in Christ.

Getting Ready for Sunday

Thanks to a great team of Saturday volunteers we have done an excellent job preparing the Briarcliff Kids rooms for Sundays.  On Saturday, August 12, we need two more to help from 9:00 -11:00. Additionally, there are opportunities on Sunday, August 13, Saturday, August 19 and Sunday, August 20. If you can help on any of the above dates, please sign up here.  HERE.

BC Students Kickoff & Parent Meeting

All families with students in grades  6-12 are invited to the BC Student Kickoff and Parent meeting on August 30th from 6:30-8:00 PM. Our goal is to get better acquainted, have fun, and share our vision for the upcoming year. Parents will join students for pizza and then from 7-8 PM attend a vision and informational meeting while students enjoy some outdoor activities. Please register HERE.

Next Generation Vision Meeting

If you are the parent of a child birth--18, we would like the opportunity to share with you the vision of our next generation ministries and how you can stay informed and included in the amazing things God is doing in our church and our community. We will meet this Sunday,  August 13th between services (10:15-10:45 AM) in the Fellowship Hall. You are welcome to pick your child(ren) up after the meeting or drop them off before the meeting.  Please register now for August 13.

Tutoring Opportunity at City Union Mission

Our church is making a significant difference in many lives at City Union Mission. In addition to serving breakfast once a month, we will again have the opportunity this year to tutor students at the Vanderburg Youth Center.  Our mission is to listen, help with homework, assist in memorizing scripture and share the gospel with them.  Tutoring will take place on Mondays from approximately 4:30-6:00 beginning September 11.  For more information and to sign up, please click HERE.
