Greetings E-news Friends,

This Sunday
Two weeks from today will be Good Friday. What’s so good about Good Friday? It was the darkest day in history. The few hours leading up to and including the crucifixion were excruciating. It is interesting that the word excruciating comes from Latin excruciare, from cruciare, to crucify. It means unbearably painful, or extreme agony. This Sunday we will unpack those agonizing hours before the cross. I think you will begin to see the good in Good Friday. It will change your heart to look deep into the events of Good Friday. Don’t miss it!

If you missed last Sunday, you can listen HERE

Who’s Your One?
Easter is only days away. It is the celebration of the greatest event in all of history; the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Who is Your One you could invite to join us in worship on Easter? Be diligent in praying for them daily. This Sunday you will receive a prayer guide booklet to use in praying for Your OneLet’s move forward toward Easter with the spirit of missionary William Carey who said, “Expect great things from God. Attempt great things for God.”

Satellite Parking on Easter?
This will be a great opportunity for us to serve those coming to Briarcliff on Easter. As you know, our parking lot overflows onto the grass each week. So, there is an opportunity for many of us to park in the east lot of Hillside Christian Church who so graciously allows us to use the space. We will have a bus at the street to bring you to and from Easter Services. Sign up now to make room for those yet to come. Let us know if you will park at Hillside for first, second, or both hours.

Easter Festival, April 20th - 12:30-3:00PM
We will be hosting on campus our annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 20th from 12:30PM - 3:00PM. It will be a wonderful opportunity for us to serve the community, share the gospel, and invite all the attendees to our worship services the next day. To make this event work, we need your help in multiple ways! During the event we will use 10,000 Easter eggs filled with candy. Thanks to your generosity we have all the eggs we need, and we only need 3000 more pieces of candy.  We will have a bin in the lobby for the collection of those items. We also have several volunteer opportunities the day of the event, and prayer volunteer opportunities following the event for outreach to the people who come on our campus during the Easter Festival. Click HERE to select where you want to serve at the event!

Food Collection
This Sunday is the first Sunday of the month, time to bring food for those in need. Your faithfulness truly makes a difference. Think generously when you are doing your grocery shopping this week and include those in need. You will be blessed in blessing others.

Coming UAfter Easter
The greatest prayer manual ever written is found in the Psalms. Much of it is the prayer journal of King David. The prayers we find in the Psalms will inspire and teach us how to pray more effectively. Nothing will prepare us more for the great things God has in mind for Briarcliff than to be fervent in prayer. This will be a life changing experience.
