Greetings E-news Friends,

This Sunday
Christianity says that Jesus’ death on a Roman cross 2000 years ago was a sacrifice to provide a path to freedom from sin and death. Even if you’re not a Christian, you’ve probably heard the claim. But how could that possibly be true? And, even if it is true, how would someone go about accessing that kind of freedom and redemption?

Join us Sunday as we continue in Mark 15:21-39 where we will see the Bible reveal how the cross of Christ is the hope we have in life and death.

Who’s Your One?
Who is Your One you could invite to join us in worship on Easter? Be diligent in continuing to pray each day for them. Let’s move forward toward Easter with the spirit of missionary William Carey who said, “Expect great things from God. Attempt great things for God.”

Satellite Parking on Easter?
Have you registered to be a part of the offsite parking on Easter? As you know, our parking lot overflows onto the grass each week. Hillside Christian Church next door is graciously allowing us to use the east side of their parking space. We will have a bus at the street to bring you to and from Easter Services. Sign up now to make room for those yet to come. Let us know if you will park at Hillside for first, second, or both hours.

Easter Festival, April 20th - 12:30-3:00PM
We will be hosting on campus our annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 20th from 12:30PM - 3:00PM. The invite card is attached for your convenience in sharing the event with your friends. It will be a wonderful opportunity for us to serve the community, share the gospel, and invite all the attendees to our worship services the next day. It will be a fun day full of cookies, crafts, drawings, egg hunts, face paint, fingerprint ID service, a fire truck, Little Italy food truck, and a photo booth! Click HERE to select where you want to serve at the event!

Thanks to your generosity we have all the eggs and candy that we need.  We still have several volunteer opportunities the day of the event, and prayer volunteer opportunities following the event. The prayer team is designed to reach out to the people who come on our campus during the Easter Festival.

Coming Up After Easter
The greatest prayer manual ever written is found in the Psalms. Much of it is the prayer journal of King David. The prayers we find in the Psalms will inspire and teach us how to pray more effectively. Nothing will prepare us more for the great things God has in mind for Briarcliff than to be fervent in prayer. This will be a life changing experience.
