Partnering with Parents to Make Disciples
Student ministries are for middle and high school and are purposed to partner with parents to make disciples. Because we believe that Scripture is clear that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our hope is to partner with parents in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside them in the discipleship process. We do this in many ways, but especially through various environments, materials and relationships.
OUR GOAL is to see students love Jesus deeply, know what it means to follow him, and serve the local church and their community.
We are driven to meet our goal through the grace of God and:
Parents as the Primary Disciplers
Together we value the family as the primary learning community for students and provides the most comprehensive context to teach students a biblical perspective on life.
Gospel Centered Community
Together we value an environment where student can engage one another in gospel-centered conversations.
Connected to the Church Body
Together we value each student’s gifts. And, enabled by the Holy Spirit, are able to serve and build up the body like every other member
We value equipping students for a life of service to Christ
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Sunday Morning | 9:00-10:00
Briarcliff Students meets on Sunday mornings to create an environment of constant growth through Biblical teaching and genuine discussion to develop disciples that pursue God’s teaching at every moment of life. This is taught by the Director of Student Ministries, Nate Le Blanc, and meets on the first floor in Room 103
Wednesday Evening | 6:30-8:00
In our effort to partner with parents to make disciples, Briarcliff Students meets at the Director of Student Ministries home to provide an environment where students can grow in relationship with Christ and their peers through worship, games, and a small group time geared to inspire students to be passionate disciples of Christ!
